Who we are
Upskill Education ("we", "us", "our") is an English-language training provider based in Casablanca, Morocco, operating the website upskill-edu.com and the student portal study.upskill-edu.com. We are the controller of your personal data.

What we collect
- Enrollment form: full name, email address, phone number, selected course and self-declared English level.
- Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message.
- Placement test: name, contact details, and your test answers and result.
- Student or teacher account: username, name, email, password (stored in encrypted/hashed form), and service-usage data (attendance, assignments, quizzes, grades).
- Technical data: IP address and session cookies strictly necessary for the operation and security of the site.
Why we use it
- To process your enrollment request and confirm your place.
- To respond to your messages and enquiries.
- To provide the service: course access, attendance tracking, assignments, quizzes and results.
- To send you communications related to your training (by email or WhatsApp).
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
Processing is based on your consent and on performing the service you request.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. It is accessible only to our teaching and administrative team, on a need-to-know basis. Our data is hosted by Hostinger. We may disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Unconverted enrollment and contact requests are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Account data is kept while the account is active; you may request deletion at any time.
Security
Traffic to and from the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as hashes and are never accessible in plain text. We apply protections such as anti-CSRF tokens, rate limiting, and two-factor authentication for administration.
Your rights
Under Morocco's Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, object to and delete your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at admin@upskill-edu.com.
Personal-data processing is subject to the formalities required by Law 09-08 before the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP).
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary session cookies: keeping you signed in to the student portal and protecting against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
